ABOUT THE LIME
Hello, my name is Enrique Del Rivero, and I am an artist driven by the limitless possibilities of creative expression. With over 18 years of experience in art and design, I work across a wide range of media, always experimenting with new technologies, materials, and creative tools to bring ideas to life.
I began my journey as a transfer student from Orange Coast College and later graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a BFA in Illustration—an experience that shaped both my artistic foundation and my multidisciplinary approach. Since then, I’ve contributed to a diverse mix of entertainment industries, cultural institutions, and creative environments, working as both an artist and a designer. My practice spans exhibition design, preparator work, concept development, illustration, animation, photography, and more. Whether I’m building physical installations, crafting digital worlds, or solving technical challenges, I thrive on pushing boundaries and creating immersive, story‑driven experiences.
I’m constantly exploring emerging technologies and unconventional media, integrating new tools into my workflow to expand what’s possible. This includes experimenting with AI to streamline processes, enhance visual development, and open new creative pathways.
Art, design, and technology aren’t just my professions—they’re the passions that fuel every project I take on. Each challenge is an opportunity to evolve, innovate, and create something meaningful.
As for my artist name, Señor Lime—it reflects my connection to my Hispanic heritage. In Mexican culture, limes have countless uses and applications, bringing brightness, versatility, and a spark of flavor to almost everything they touch. I relate to that spirit in my own creative practice, always aiming to add a bit of zest wherever my work goes.
